Funnel Recruiting Privacy Notice
1. General
1.1 This Recruiting Privacy Notice applies for recruitment processes carried out by Funnel AB and the other Funnel group companies, excluding Funnel, Inc. Processing of personal data carried out by Funnel Inc. for recruitment purposes is covered by the US Recruiting Privacy Notice.
The Funnel entity out of the following that is handling the recruitment process and Funnel AB (”Funnel”, “us”, “we”) are responsible for the processing of your personal data as independent data controllers:

1.2 By connecting with Funnel or submitting your application to Funnel, you will provide personal data to Funnel which Funnel will process as set forth in this notice.
2. Which data does Funnel process about you?
2.1 Funnel collects and processes your personal data when you submit information in our contact forms for job applications and when you email, chat or have other interactions with us. The personal data will be your name, contact details, curriculum vitae (CV) and other information that you may provide. Funnel also collects and processes data by use of social media (e.g. Facebook and LinkedIn), public searches, and in case of recommendations data from Funnel employees, and own or third party cookies and other follow-up tools, see section 8, below.
2.2 Funnel does not expect there to be any processing of sensitive personal data, nor do we apply any automated decision-making throughout our recruitment processes.
3. Why does Funnel process your personal data?
3.1 Funnel processes your personal data for the main purpose of carrying out the recruitment process. The basis for such processing being to fulfill the tasks required by you in participating in the recruitment process.
3.2 Provided that you have given your consent, Funnel may also store your personal data in its candidate database for the purposes of future recruitment activities. You may withdraw your consent at any time, by notifying Funnel via the career site or using the contact details provided in section 9. If you choose to withdraw your consent Funnel may not carry out any new processing, while processing already carried out will not be affected but remains permitted.
4. For how long is personal data processed?
Your personal data is kept by Funnel only for such time periods as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected. However, Funnel may retain the data for a longer period of time if required by law or if needed to protect Funnel’s legal interests, e.g. to enable Funnel to address a discrimination claim. In such cases, the personal data is only kept to fulfill such legal obligations, and for protecting Funnel’s legal interests, being a legitimate interest of Funnel.
5. Third Parties
5.1 Funnel uses certain third parties for our recruiting activities, such as our IT-suppliers or recruitment partners, which process your personal data as our data processors. Funnel is, as a data controller, always responsible for the correct processing of your personal data.
5.2 Funnel may if required by law or a decision of a competent authority share your personal data, this is in such cases done by Funnel to fulfill legal obligations.
5.3 Your personal data may be transferred to or stored in countries outside of the EU/EEA, provided that there is an adequate level of protection or that Funnel and its data processors have implemented appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, more information on such safeguards are available here.
6. Changes to the notice
Funnel may from time to time change this notice, and will publish the updated notice at the Funnel career website with reasonable advance notice. If you do not accept the changed terms, you have the right to request that Funnel shuts down your candidate account prior to the changed notice entering into force.
7. Data security
We aim to ensure that you at all times remain confident in trusting Funnel with your personal data, and have implemented such security measures necessary to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, modification and deletion.
8. Cookies etc.
Funnel’s career site uses cookies and other techniques (hereinafter ”cookies”) in order to function properly. Cookies are used for Funnel to keep statistics of the number of visits and to enable enhancements of the user experience. The information is processed for the purposes and the base for the respective activities as set forth in section 3, above. If you do not agree to the use of cookies, you may configure your web browser to not accept cookies. 9. Your rights and contact details
9.1 You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning you and to object to processing as well as to data portability. For more information on your rights, please see here.
You are entitled to request this free of charge. In case of requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive (e.g. excessively repetitive), Funnel is entitled to charge an administrative fee – in such cases you will be notified thereof beforehand.
9.2 Funnel will normally answer your request within one (1) month from receipt of your request. Requests are made via privacy@funnel.io.
