Business Development Representative - Mid-Market
About the Role
As a Business Development Representative in Funnel’s Mid-Market team, your focus is to create a qualified outbound pipeline that leads to real revenue.
This role is about generating relevant conversations with the right prospects, not activity for its own sake. You’ll work closely with Account Executives to identify strong-fit accounts, engage key stakeholders, and convert outreach into meaningful opportunities.
You’ll help marketers understand the cost of fragmented or unreliable marketing data, and create opportunities for our sales team by turning that pain into relevant conversations.
What You’ll Do
Generate outbound pipeline through email, phone, and LinkedIn across Funnel’s ICP.
Engage both cold and warm opportunities, including reactivating closed-lost accounts.
Qualify prospects and book meetings with clear context for Account Executives.
Work closely with a team of Mid-Market Account Executives on targeting, messaging, and follow-up across multiple account priorities.
Test and improve outbound approaches using data, feedback, and AI.
Use AI and modern prospecting tools to improve research, messaging, productivity, and learning speed.
Maintain strong CRM hygiene and structured follow-up.

What We’re Looking For
Experience in outbound prospecting or a customer-facing commercial role.
Confidence communicating via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, or similar.
Interest in using AI and modern tools to improve prospecting.
You don’t need to have everything on day one, but you do need to learn fast and execute well.
Location & Eligibility
At this time, we can only consider applicants who are already based in Stockholm and meet one of the following criteria:
Hold Swedish citizenship.
Hold EU/EEA citizenship and are currently living in Stockholm.
Have a valid Swedish work permit.
Office-first
At Funnel, we have an office-first approach, and we work from the office a minimum of four days a week. We have lots of flexibility for when life happens, during the summer, through the holidays. We just like to avoid having standing remote days.
