What you will do
As an Account Manager at Funnel, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by expanding the value of our existing customer base. You will be laser-focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities that drive revenue growth and expand Funnel’s footprint across our customers' organizations.
This is a highly commercial, results-driven role where success is measured by your ability to generate growth, influence decision-makers, and maximize customer lifetime value. Collaborating closely with Customer Success and other internal teams, you will strategically position Funnel’s solutions to meet evolving customer needs and secure long-term commitments that drive sustained revenue expansion.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Build and cultivate strong commercial relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within your customer portfolio to drive growth opportunities
- Maintain a proactive, growth-oriented mindset by consistently identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities that expand Funnel’s footprint and increase customer lifetime value
- Own the expansion sales cycle end-to-end, from opportunity identification to business case development, negotiation, and closing
- Create and maintain detailed account plans that outline growth strategies, expansion targets, stakeholder mapping, and action plans
- Lead renewal discussions with a commercial lens, positioning Funnel’s value and securing multi-year commitments that drive long-term revenue growth
- Develop product expertise across Funnel’s platform and offerings to strategically position solutions that align with customer needs and objectives
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Solutions Consultants to identify risks early and execute mitigation strategies that protect and grow revenue
- Accurately track and document all sales activities, opportunities, and customer data in CRM and other internal systems to maintain pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy
- Apply proven sales methodologies, frameworks, and toolkits to drive consistent, repeatable, and scalable sales motions across your portfolio

Experience and skills
6+ years of experience in an Account Executive and/or Account Management role, preferably in the MarTech industry
Proven track record of consistently meeting revenue quotas
Strong knowledge of SaaS business models and cycles
Proven success with procurement and contract negotiation
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual)
Strong prioritisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English is required; fluency in another language is a plus

This role is based in our Stockholm office. At Funnel, we embrace an office-first approach, working on-site at least four days a week. While we offer plenty of flexibility for life’s events, summer months, and holidays, we aim to avoid fixed remote workdays.
