As Account Manager at Funnel you are part of a high-performance sales team in a scaling team company! Our ambition is to win our category on a global scale, and we are growing fast. Since 2019 our goal has been to double our sales team, and continue to expand from there.

What You Will Do

It is your job as sales ambassador to make C-level executives across the globe understand how the power of Funnel applies to their specific need. We are their strategic partners, and help brands like Samsung, iZettle and Havas pinpoint marketing improvements with surgical precision.

You work with Funnel’s existing customers to grow their business with us. Your work is focused entirely on upsell (support is handled by our colleagues in Customer Success). You will work closely with other Funnel teams including Sales Development, Account Executive and Customer Success in order to ensure a consistent experience all through their journey with us.

Some of the things you will work with on a daily basis are: 

  • Conduct needs analysis and qualification to ensure you spend time on the right Customers.
  • Map out organizations, find champions and build relationships with strategic stakeholders in order to up-sell within existing customer accounts.
  • Find and establish relationships with stakeholders in other parts of the Customer organization.
  • Iterate and improve the upsell process. Your input will be needed on everything from the required tech stack to contracts, pricing, services and product presentation.
  • Project manage and synchronize efforts with members of other Customer-facing Funnel teams.
  • Deliver weekly forecast to sales management.
  • Travel to meet prospects all over Europe.

Who You Are 

To succeed, you need a deep understanding of our Customers’ business, a challenger’s mindset and a natural drive to go out and find new stakeholders in order to turn local deals into global. It is also important that your success is not only personal, but will benefit the entire team. As such, we believe you have empathy and can find ways to coach and learn together with your colleagues. We believe that you are a future leader within Funnel, and will take on additional responsibilities as we grow.

We have an idea of what a good background for this role could be, but personality is more important than to check all the boxes in your CV. We believe you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Business to business software sales experience (a big bonus for SaaS). 
  • Proven commercial success in working with executives, VP and ‘C’ level.
  • The ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience from ‘land and expand’ sales strategy.
  • Fluency in English (Swedish is not required). Bonus if you also are fluent in one additional major European language.
