As Account Executive at Funnel you are part of a high-performance sales team in a scaling team company! Our ambition is to win our category on a global scale, and we are growing fast. Since 2019 our goal has been to double our sales team, and continue to expand from there.

What You Will Do

It is your job as sales ambassador to make C-level executives across the globe understand how the power of Funnel applies to their specific need. We are their strategic partners, and help brands like Samsung, iZettle and Havas shine even brighter. 

You work as part of our sales team with Funnel’s biggest prospective customers, mostly with new qualified leads and strategic up-sells. You will guide them through the buying cycle from demo all the way to subscription, in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales Development and Customer Success. 

Some of the things you will work with on a daily basis are: 

  • Conduct needs analysis and qualification to ensure you spend time on the right prospects.
  • Map out organizations and build relationships with new stakeholders as well as strategic up-sells within existing customer accounts.
  • Iterate and improve the enterprise sales process. Your input will be needed on everything from the required sales tech stack to contracts, pricing, services and product presentation.
  • Deliver weekly forecast to sales management.
  • Do some prospecting when necessary in order to boost pipeline. Funnel has an efficient lead generation machine, so you will receive a good amount of inbound leads. But reaching quota will mean sourcing your own deals as well.
  • You will travel to meet prospects all over Europe.

We believe that you are a future leader within Funnel, and will take on additional responsibilities as we grow. To succeed, you need a hunter’s mindset and a relentless drive to close the deal. It is also important that your success is not only personal, but will benefit the team. As such, we hope you have empathy and can find ways to coach and learn together with the team. 

We have an idea of what a good background for this role could be, but personality is more important than to check all the boxes in your CV. We believe you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Business to business software sales experience (a big bonus for SaaS). 
  • Proven commercial success in working with executives, VP and ‘C’ level.
  • The ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (Swedish is not required). Bonus if you also are fluent in one more major European language.
