What you will do

This is a new role as a step in scaling up our Marketing team. Our customer acquisition strategy is marketing-driven, and the backbone of it is paid advertising. As our new Head of Paid Advertising, your main responsibilities will be to lead, mentor and coach our Performance team. With your experience and expertise as well as by upskilling and coaching the team, you will help us to further develop our advertising-driven lead engine and accelerate our growth. 

Some of your other responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, optimise and scale our paid acquisition strategy 
  • Set and own our lead generation KPIs and targets to further fuel our accelerating growth
  • Analyse lead quality, channel performance, as well as collaborate with other teams to continually improve our communication and messaging towards our target personas; share and communicate insights and discoveries - act on the newly discovered opportunities 
  • Develop, optimise and expand our channel mix to scale our lead generation as well as support other teams with the distribution of content etc.
  • Mentor and coach the team: set and lead a competence development plan

The team

In this role you will lead and develop the paid acquisition team, currently consisting of two paid acquisition managers, that manage, develop and optimize our paid marketing efforts. You will also work closely with the other Marketing teams focusing on Content marketing, Product marketing, and Web as well as have regular syncs with the Sales teams in both Stockholm and Boston to ensure that the leads we are generating are turning into opportunities and revenue. We are extremely data-driven and continually look for ways to be even more than what we are today. We love data and let it guide us to make better decisions. We follow a dev-inspired lean mindset (build-measure-learn) and work iteratively in small autonomous supercells. As the Head of Paid Acquisition, you will be part of the Marketing leadership team.

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who will join and show us what good looks like from day one. You have extensive experience in paid advertising and analytics, and consider yourself an expert in this area. You have experience coaching and building a best-of-breed paid acquisition team. We see it as a big plus if you have experience with SaaS or high-growth tech companies in general (but value your personality and marketing experience even more).

  • Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset: a go-getter - you don’t let things get in the way of achieving your goals: when you come across a roadblock you actively develop ways around it
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Demonstrated success in working in paid acquisition capacity in tight collaboration with other teams
  • You live and breath data and KPIs and are continually looking for ways to be even more data-driven
